TULSA (KFAQ) A 14 year old boy was rescued today after apparently falling or jumping into the Arkansas River.

Police say the boy went off the Pedestrian Bridge near 29th and Riverside Drive. He apparently only sustained an injured knee in the fall. Eyewitnesses say it appears the boy grabbed his nose shortly before going off the bridge, indicating he went into the water on purpose.

The boy was apparently on an outing with other boys from the Tulsa Boys Home when it happened.
