Mayor Dewey Bartlett says the City of Tulsa has an "as is" offer to purchase the old City Hall building and council chamber. The one million dollar offer is the only offer the city has received for the sale of the facility.

Tori and Macy Snyder of Brickhugger LLC have offered buy the site for one million dollars in cash. The Snyders turned their sights to the old City Hall building after finishing renovating the Mayo hotel. They plan to spend $30 million to renovate the property into a 200 room hotel and resturant.

Mayor Bartlett says the sale will bring jobs, provide money to the city in taxes, and save Tulsa in expenses on the property. Several City Councilors attended a press conference on the sale and expressed agreement on the deal. Mayor Bartlett says the sale could be complete in a few weeks.
