Man dies in officer-involved shooting
TULSA (FOX 23) - FOX23 has learned a fatal shooting near 4th & Xanthus, near downtown Tulsa, Monday evening was officer-involved.
Police say a man who was a suspect in a series of robberies around that neighborhood threatened officers with a gun just before ten, and they were forced to fire at him. He was shot in the abdomen, rushed to the hospital, and later died.
No names have been released and police say the officer will be placed on paid administrative leave.
