B.C. Franklin park hearing delayed
TULSA (FOX23) A hearing regarding a temporary restraining order about the demolition of Tulsa's B.C. Franklin Park has been continued.
Several members of the community have filed a lawsuit to prevent the city from tearing down the recreation center. The group wants the center to be renovated and repaired. The city has plans to remove the center and add other amenities to the park. The lawsuit asks for an injunction and a court order for use of tax dollars on improvements to the center instead of tearing it down.
The hearing is now planned for Friday morning.
