Man accused of raping 13-year-old at day camp
TULSA (FOX 23) - A Tulsa man faces rape and sodomy complaints for allegedly assaulting a 13-year old girl in the stairwell of Victory Christian Center near 77th & Lewis in South Tulsa. The girl was attending a weeklong day camp at the center when the alleged attacks happened.
Police arrested Chris Denman, 20, on Wednesday after the girl disclosed to her day camp leaders that Denman assaulted her on August 13th.
Denman was employed at the camp as a custodian and has been fired, according to Cpl. Greg Smith with TPD.
Denman's Facebook page lists his employment as "staff at Camp Victory," with a Mannford address. The Facebook page says he was studying ministry at Victory Bible Institute.
Denman faces one charge of rape of a minor and one charge of forcible sodomy.
The church had no comment when FOX23 called Wednesday evening.
