OSU deciding on QB for Iowa St game
STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy still isn't sure who the Cowboys' starting quarterback will be against Iowa State.
Gundy said Monday that Wes Lunt, who suffered a knee injury on Sept. 15, is ``day-to-day'' but has started working with the Cowboys' starters in practice.
Backup J.W. Walsh, who's started three games in Lunt's absence, also is getting work in with Oklahoma State's first team.
Gundy says Iowa State (4-2, 1-2 Big 12 Conference) will have to prepare for both quarterbacks.
Whoever start Saturday, Oklahoma State (3-2, 1-1) is looking to improve upon an anemic performance in a 20-14 win over Kansas, in which the Cowboys managed just 371 yards of offense.
