Testimony under way in Oklahoma fatal fire trial
PURCELL, Okla. (AP) - Testimony is under way in McClain County in the first-degree murder trial of a man accused of the deaths of two children and their mother.
Four witnesses testified Wednesday in the trial of 29-year-old Shaun Michael Bosse. Bosse is charged in the July 23, 2010, deaths of 25-year-old Katrina Griffin and her two children, 8-year-old Christian Griffin and 6-year-old Chasity Hammer.
Prosecutors allege that Katrina Griffin died from multiple sharp force trauma and Christian died from multiple stab wounds. Chasity died from smoke inhalation and burns after the family's mobile home in Dibble was set on fire.
Jury selection in the case began on Oct. 1. Twelve jurors and three alternate jurors were seated on Tuesday.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in the case. Bosse has pleaded not guilty.
