Southwest to offer non-stop service to Chicago

TULSA (KFAQ) Southwest Airlines has announced that they will begin nonstop service from Tulsa to Chicago’s Midway International Airport next June.  

Southwest Airlines is Tulsa’s largest carrier and has a 30+ year history of serving Tulsa area travelers.  Airport Director, Jeff Mulder says he is pleased to see the added capacity and additional options for Tulsa.  “Midway will provide our customers with an expansive network of connecting opportunities to the northeast and convenient access to one of our nation’s largest cities,” Mulder said.   

The airline says it will utilize Boeing 737 aircraft and will be operating under the following schedule: 

Sunday-Friday  

Depart Tulsa:  11:45 a.m.
Arrive Chicago: 1:30 p.m.
 
Depart Chicago: 3:20 p.m.
Arrive  Tulsa: 5:05 p.m.
 
Saturday:
 
Depart Tulsa: 6:25 a.m.
Arrive Chicago: 8:10 a.m.
 
Depart Chicago: 2:30 p.m.
Arrive Tulsa: 4:15 p.m.
