Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb releases policy report
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb says tax reform, workers' compensation reform and workforce development are among the top issues in his second policy report.
Lamb developed the Policy and Issues Report through his role as the state's small business advocate after a series of six small business and small manufacturer summits held in various communities across the state.
Lamb says he has made meeting with business owners a priority in determining how to move the state forward. He says the report's goal is to generate legislation that will help the state grow and thrive. The Oklahoma Legislature will convene the 2013 legislative session on Feb. 4.
Lamb says making the state more competitive, educating a skilled workforce and providing accountability within government agencies is the key to helping Oklahoma advance.
