Oklahoma State signing day
STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy says the Cowboys' current lack of an offensive coordinator didn't hurt them in recruiting.
Oklahoma State landed two highly regarded wide receiver prospects from Dallas, Marcell Ateman and Ra'Shaad Samples.
The 6-foot-4 Ateman had 84 catches last season for 1,584 yards and 27 touchdowns for Wylie East High School while Samples caught 62 passes for 1,072 yards and 23 touchdowns at Skyline High School.
The Cowboys also picked up two running back prospects Wednesday in Corion Webster of Atlanta, Texas, and Rennie Childs of Houston. With 2012 starter Joseph Randle headed to the NFL, Gundy says Childs and Webster both should play as freshmen.
