Winter Weather Advisory Issued
TULSA (KFAQ) - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Tulsa metro area and a Winter Storm Warning for areas north and northwest of the city.
The advisory is in effect until Noon on Thursday. Periods of snow, freezing rain and sleet will fall overnight. Some thunder is also possible.
On Thursday, there will be periods of rain or freezing rain before noon, then a slight chance of rain in the afternoon. Some thunder is also possible with the showers. High near 38. Breezy conditions are expected, with an east, southeast wind at 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
