News and Weather Team:
Tami Marler is KFAQ's News Director and Executive Producer. She anchors the news during the Pat Campbell and Glenn Beck shows. Tami also anchors the Week in Review on weekends and manages news content for 1170KFAQ.com.
Tami has won numerous awards for large market enterprise and investigative reporting. Her reports on the Tar Creek communities helped garner state and national attention to the area, which led to a buyout that allowed residents to leave the nation's largest Superfund site.
Brett Anthony is the Emmy Award winning chief meteorologist for 2 Works for You Storm Shield Weather. He holds seals of approval from both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. Brett won an Emmy award for a severe weather special called, "Surviving the Storm," and he also has received numerous AP awards and honorable mentions for weather and feature reporting in Kansas, Kentucky & Missouri.
Meteorologist Taft Price joined the 2 Works for You Storm Shield Weather team in 2011. Taft was born in Ponca City and is a life-long Oklahoman. Taft provides forecasts and severe weather coverage for KFAQ.
Mitchell King has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma and has worked in television and radio. He helps to produce the Pat Campbell Show, operates the audio board for and often contributes to the news and traffic departments.
Richard Linihan is a reporter for the KFAQ news department. He has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Oklahoma State University. Richard can also be heard delivering traffic reports during The Pat Campbell Show.
David Prock is KFAQ’s Technical Producer. He can be heard every afternoon providing news, sports and traffic reports. David also monitors the KFAQ Facebook page and works to keep the station running smoothly.
Annica Thomas hosts a weekend community service program.
