Bill O'Reilly

Bill O'Reilly brings "The Factor" to radio each Monday through Friday from Noon to 2 p.m. on Tulsa's Talk Radio 1170 KFAQ. Bill joined FOX News Channel as an anchor/host in 1996, and is currently host of the cable news show The O'Reilly Factor.

Prior to joining FOX News Channel, O'Reilly was an anchor for Inside Edition, where he was one of the first broadcast journalists to cover the dismantling of the Berlin Wall. During his six-year stint there, he obtained the first exclusive interview with Joel Steinberg and was the first national anchor on the scene of the Los Angeles riots. He has interviewed a range of celebrities and politicians from President George W. Bush to Arnold Schwarzenegger to Susan Sarandon. O'Reilly also served as a network correspondent for ABC News' World News Tonight and worked extensively on prime-time specials such as "Burning Questions: Why Our Weapons Don't Work" and "Drugs: Why This Plague?"

Prior to joining ABC, he reported and anchored at WCBS-TV (CBS) in New York and served as a commentator at WCVB-TV (ABC) in Boston. A recipient of two Emmy Awards for an investigative report and for Best Spot News Coverage, as well as many other awards for his hard-hitting reporting, O'Reilly also authored a newspaper column for the Boston Herald for a number of years. He is also the author of the current New York Times bestseller "The O'Reilly Factor" and "Those Who Trespass." In June of 1996, O'Reilly received his Master's degree from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, and also has a Master's degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University. His undergraduate work was completed at Marist College. He resides in Long Island, NY.
