NORMAN, Okla. (AP) The Oklahoma women's soccer team will wrap up its 2013 preseason this weekend with a pair of games on the road at Idaho and Gonzaga.

Head coach Matt Potter is in his second season at OU as he rebuilds the team. He says this weekend's exhibition games will serve as an important early step in the season for a young roster that features 15 newcomers.

Potter's 2013 squad will also rely heavily on a nucleus of returners, including the senior trio of Bailey Boulware, Zoe Dickson and Kathryn Watson.

The Sooners will use the weekend's contests as preparation for its season opener against Tennessee on Aug. 23. OU's home opener is Sept. 1 against Texas State.
