Tropical Storm Cindy made landfall at 2:30 Thursday morning with wind speeds near 40 m.p.h. As a result, we will see a few more clouds across the area today, but the chance for rain with this system will stay well to the south and east of Tulsa. HIghs today will be slightly cooler, near 90 degrees, as a result of a few more clouds.
As we head into Friday, a cold front approaches the area. This will act as the driving force to keep T.S. Cindy out of our area, but it will bring us a chance for a few showers and storms in Green Country.
Showers chances will linger through the weekend. This will bring a nice relief from the heat by Sunday when highs will be around 80°.Read full story
